The South Colonels (Worcester, MA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Southbridge Pioneers (Southbridge, MA), 3-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Colonels now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Advanced Math & Science Academy for a Central Mass match on Monday, September 29. South will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Assabet Valley RVT (Marlborough, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
The Pioneers (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Millbury (Millbury, MA). The Woolies enter the non-league match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Millbury was outscored by Hopedale (Hopedale, MA), 3-0, in a league bout.
