Next, the Eagles confront the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 29. Wilkes Central will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 4-0 league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC).

The Blackhawks now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Surry for a Foothills 2A challenge on Wednesday, September 29. West Wilkes will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-5.
