The Valley Christian Defenders topped the visiting Whittier Christian Heralds volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Defenders now have a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Anthony for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 28. Valley Christian will confront a Saints team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA). The Saints record now stands at 1-0.

The Heralds (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Maranatha (Pasadena, CA). The Minutemen enter the test with a 0-2 record.
