Norwayne Bobcats (Creston, OH) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats confront the Smithville Smithies (Smithville, OH) in a Wayne County challenge, on Thursday, September 29. Norwayne will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Smithies enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Chippewa (Doylestown, OH).

The Chipps now have a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hillsdale for a Wayne County challenge on Saturday, October 1.
