The Bland County Bears volleyball team (Rocky Gap, VA), was dropped 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA)

The Spartans (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Maroons enter the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, George Wythe was dropped by Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 29. Bland County will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Galax (Galax, VA).
