The King George Foxes held off the visiting James Monroe Yellow Jackets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Foxes now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Culpeper County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 29. King George will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Caroline (Milford, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-6.
The Yellow Jackets (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Courtland was nudged by Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
