Virginia High School Volleyball - Monticello can't hold off Orange County

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Monticello Mustangs.
The Fighting Hornets (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Goochland nudged Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 29. Monticello will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 5-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
