In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Western Guilford Hornets.
The Cowboys (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks come into the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Northern Guilford was edged by West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Hornets clash with the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 29. Western Guilford will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Whirlies come into the battle with a 11-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
