Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY), 8-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) in a Section 9 Division III challenge, on Thursday, September 29. Beacon will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 6-0 league win over Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY).

The Panthers now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Port Jervis for a Section 9 Division III challenge on Thursday, September 29. Monticello will face a Raiders team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Goshen Central (Goshen, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 2-8.
