In Tuesday's league battle, the host Weed Cougars soccer squad scored a good 9-1 triumph over the Etna Lions.
The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA). The Bears come into the Shasta Cascade battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Mt. Shasta thwarted Butte Valley (Dorris, CA), 6-2, in a league battle.
The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity (Weaverville, CA). The Wolves come into the Shasta Cascade battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Trinity thwarted Modoc (Alturas, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
