North Carolina High School Soccer - Seventy-First nudges South View

Seventy-First Falcons (Fayetteville, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC), 3-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Falcons face the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A challenge, on Monday, October 3. Seventy-First will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC).

The Tigers now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Douglas Byrd for a challenge on Monday, October 3. South View will face a Eagles team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-9.
