Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA) and the visiting Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA), witnessed Dade County's softball squad prevail over Coosa by a count of 9-0.

The Wolverines now sport a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Trion for a 1A D-I Region 7 match on Thursday, September 29. Dade County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Coosa moves to 5-8 on the season. The Eagles host Pepperell (Lindale, GA) to face the Dragons in a 1A D-I Region 7 match on Thursday, September 29. The Dragons go into the match with a record of 13-2. Pepperell won 10-1 in their recent league match against Armuchee (Rome, GA)
