Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) and the host Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA), witnessed Starr's Mill's softball squad overcome Fayette County by a final score of 17-5.

The Panthers (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against LaGrange (LaGrange, GA). The Grangers go into the 4A Region 4 battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, LaGrange was routed by Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA), 8-0, in a league battle.

The Tigers now possess a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Troup County for a 4A Region 4 battle on Thursday, September 29. Fayette County will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 15-7 non-league loss to Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-7.
