With the triumph, Jeff Davis improves its record to 19-1 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Worth County (Sylvester, GA) to clash with the Rams in a 2A Region 1 game on Wednesday, September 28. The Rams come into the game with a record of 8-12. Worth County lost 10-1 in their recent non-league game against Baconton Charter (Baconton, GA)

In their next game, the Purple Hurricane clash with the Irwin County Indians (Ocilla, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 3. Fitzgerald will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 12-6 record after their 19-0 league win over Brooks County (Quitman, GA).
