Frederick Golden Eagles (Frederick, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Thompson Valley Eagles (Loveland, CO), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 16-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain View for a 4A Longs Peak challenge on Thursday, September 29. Frederick will face a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 22-0 league loss to Niwot (Niwot, CO). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 2-17.

With the loss, Thompson Valley falls to 4-15 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Skyline (Longmont, CO) to face the Falcons in a 4A Longs Peak challenge on Thursday, September 29. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 1-16. Skyline lost 18-3 in their recent league challenge against Northridge (Greeley, CO)
