Perry Panthers (Perry, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Howard Huskies (Macon, GA), 12-3 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 16-5 record. They take the field next when they host Marion County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 28. Perry will face a Eagles squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to Taylor County (Butler, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 14-7.

With the loss, Howard falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Huskies host West Laurens (Dexter, GA) to face the Raiders in a 4A Region 2 challenge on Thursday, September 29. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 17-3. West Laurens won 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Bleckley County (Cochran, GA)
