The Locust Grove Wildcats softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Union Grove Wolverines to 7 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Locust Grove improves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Pike County (Zebulon, GA) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league game on Wednesday, September 28. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 14-12. Pike County won 12-0 in their recent league game against Peach County (Fort Valley, GA)

In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA) in a 5A Region 2 game, on Thursday, September 29. Union Grove will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 13-3 record after their 15-0 league win over Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA).
