Georgia High School Softball - Washington County bounces Putnam County

September 27, 2022: Sandersville, GA 31082

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA) and the visiting Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA), witnessed Washington County's softball squad prevail over Putnam County by a count of 21-12.

The Golden Hawks now sport a 11-10 record. They play next when they host Putnam County for a 2A Region 4 match on Tuesday, September 27. Washington County will meet a War Eagles squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Putnam County moves to 7-11 on the season. The war eagles travel to Washington County (Sandersville, GA) to meet the Golden Hawks in a 2A Region 4 match on Tuesday, September 27. The Golden Hawks go into the match with a record of 9-10. Washington County lost 13-3 in their recent non-league match against East Laurens (East Dublin, GA)
