The Prince Edward County Eagles volleyball team (Farmville, VA), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA)

The Raiders (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA). The Chargers come into the James River challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Lunenburg Central went down by Buckingham (Buckingham, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) in a James River challenge, on Thursday, September 29. Prince Edward County will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Statesmen come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Nottoway (Nottoway, VA).
