The Rockingham County Cougars topped the host Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cougars now have a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastern Guilford for a Mid-State 3A test on Thursday, September 29. Rockingham County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 league loss to High Point Central (High Point, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-13.
The Golden Eagles (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Panthers enter the Mid-State 3A test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Dudley was knocked off by Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
