The Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats topped the host Hiwassee Dam Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bobcats now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Highlands for a Little Smoky Mountain 1A contest on Tuesday, October 4. Blue Ridge Early College will battle a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Highlanders record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Hiwassee Dam drops to 1-15 on the campaign. The Eagles host Union County (Blairsville, GA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league contest on Monday, October 3. The Panthers enter the test with a record of 13-20. Union County lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Athens Academy (Athens, GA)
