The Branford Buccaneers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Lafayette Hornets to 0 in the Buccaneers league victory on Tuesday.

The Buccaneers now have a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newberry for a non-league game on Monday, October 3. Branford will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Buchholz (Gainesville, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 7-12.

The Hornets (6-12) will now prepare for their game against Suwannee (Live Oak, FL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 4-12 record. In their last game, Suwannee gained a win over Gadsden County (Havana, FL), 3-0, in a non-league game.
