The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) and the host Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA), saw Buckingham's volleyball squad beat Lunenburg Central by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Buckingham upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Knights host Cumberland (Cumberland, VA) to play the Dukes in a James River bout on Thursday, September 29. The Dukes go into the bout with a record of 0-10. Cumberland lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Altavista (Altavista, VA)

The Chargers now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Amelia County for a James River bout on Wednesday, September 28. Lunenburg Central will play a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-5.
