North Carolina High School Volleyball - Owen over Draughn

The Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC) volleyball were winner over the visiting Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), 3-1 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Owen betters its record to 9-5 on the year. The Warhorses travel to Mitchell (Bakersville, NC) to face the Mountaineers in a Western Highlands 1A/2A outing on Wednesday, September 28. The Mountaineers go into the outing with a record of 1-10. Mitchell lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Madison (Marshall, NC)

The Wildcats now sport a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Avery County for a Western Highlands 1A/2A outing on Thursday, September 29. Draughn will face a Vikings squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 9-6.
