The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) and the host Dublin Fighting Irish (Dublin, GA), saw Taylor County's volleyball squad beat Dublin by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Taylor County upgrades its record to 6-8 on the year. The Vikings host Crisp County (Cordele, GA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 12. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 13-4.

The Fighting Irish now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Crawford County for a 1A Area 2 bout on Tuesday, September 27. Dublin will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Howard (Macon, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-6.
