North Carolina High School Volleyball - High Point Central over Eastern Guilford

September 27, 2022: Gibsonville, NC 27249

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) and the host Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC), saw High Point Central's volleyball squad beat Eastern Guilford by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, High Point Central upgrades its record to 9-7 on the year. The Bison host Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC) to play the Cougars in a Mid-State 3A bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 12-3.

The Wildcats now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Rockingham County for a Mid-State 3A bout on Thursday, September 29. Eastern Guilford will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 12-3.
