New Mexico High School Volleyball - New Mexico School for the Deaf tips Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Santa Fe, NM) and the visiting Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle (Albuquerque, NM), saw New Mexico School for the Deaf's volleyball squad nip Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, New Mexico School for the Deaf upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Roadrunners travel to Coronado (Gallina, NM) to play the Leopards in a 1A District 7 bout on Thursday, September 29. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 6-1.

The Eagle now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Legacy Academy for a 1A District 7 bout on Thursday, September 29. Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy will play a Silverbacks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM). The Silverbacks record now stands at 9-2.
