The First Presbyterian Day Vikings held off the visiting Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Vikings now have a 4-23 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson for a non-league test on Thursday, September 29. First Presbyterian Day will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 2-0 league win over Pike County (Zebulon, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 20-10.

The Cavaliers (8-18) will now prepare for their test against Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Mary Persons held off Peach County (Fort Valley, GA), 2-0, in a league test.
