The Floyd County Buffaloes got by the visiting James River Knights volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.

The Buffaloes now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alleghany for a Three Rivers game on Thursday, September 29. Floyd County will meet a Mountaineers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Radford (Radford, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 0-11.

The Knights (2-8) will now prepare for their game against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders enter the Three Rivers game with a 10-0 record. In their last game, Glenvar nipped Carroll County (Hillsville, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
