The Goliad Tigers topped the host George West Longhorns volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Tigers now have a 22-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taft for a 3A Region IV District 29 test on Friday, September 30. Goliad will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 4-4.

The Longhorns (6-14) will now prepare for their test against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 20-8 record. In their last test, Three Rivers gained a win over Falls City (Falls City, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
