The Southside Seahawks volleyball team (Chocowinity, NC), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC)

The Trojans (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC). The Devil Pups enter the Coastal Plains 1A/2A challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Lejeune went down by East Carteret (Beaufort, NC), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Seahawks encounter the West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 28. Southside will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Washington (Washington, NC).
