Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Panther Creek Panthers (Frisco, TX), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Celina Bobcats (Celina, TX) in a 4A Region II District 11 match, on Tuesday, September 27. Van Alstyne will attempt to better on its 16-14 season record. The Bobcats come into the match with a 25-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX).

With the loss, Panther Creek drops to 8-19 on the campaign. The Panthers host Ranchview (Irving, TX) to battle the Wolves in a 4A Region II District 11 match on Friday, September 30.
