North Carolina High School Volleyball - Piedmont Community Charter over Cabarrus Charter

The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) volleyball overcame the host Cabarrus Charter Huskies (Concord, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Piedmont Community Charter upgrades its record to 9-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to face the Stallions in a Metro Eight 1A outing on Tuesday, October 4. The Stallions go into the outing with a record of 5-9.

The Huskies now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Carolina International for a Metro Eight 1A outing on Friday, September 30. Cabarrus Charter will face a Comets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Comets record now stands at 7-11.
