North Carolina High School Volleyball - Providence Grove edged by Uwharrie Charter

The Uwharrie Charter Eagles held off the visiting Providence Grove Patriots volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Eagles now have a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A test on Thursday, September 29. Uwharrie Charter will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-7.

The Patriots (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons enter the non-league test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Southeast Guilford was nudged by Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
