The Rye Cove Eagles volleyball team (Clinchport, VA), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA)

The Titans (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against J.I. Burton (Norton, VA). The Black Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, J.I. Burton nipped Castlewood (Castlewood, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA) in a Cumberland challenge, on Thursday, September 29. Rye Cove will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Eastside (Coeburn, VA).
