The Santa Clara Saints volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Thacher Toads to 2 in the Saints league victory on Tuesday.

The Saints now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Villanova Prep for a Frontier game on Tuesday, October 4. Santa Clara will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Laguna Blanca (Santa Barbara, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-7.

The Toads (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Fillmore (Fillmore, CA). The Flashes enter the non-league game with a 0-8 record. In their last game, Fillmore was nudged by Oak Park (Oak Park, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
