Oregon High School Soccer - Marist knocks off Marshfield

Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Marshfield Pirates (Coos Bay, OR), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Spartans confront the Cottage Grove Lions (Cottage Grove, OR) in a 4A Sky Em challenge, on Monday, October 2. Marist will attempt to better on its 9-0 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 2-2 league Junction City (Junction City, OR).
The Pirates now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host North Bend for a 4A Sky Em challenge on Monday, October 2. Marshfield will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 1-1 non-league Crater (Central Point, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.
