The Bruins now have a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint Mary's for a game on Monday, October 2. St. Patrick-St. Vincent will meet a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Hercules (Hercules, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-5.

The Cougars (11-1) will now prepare for their game against Encinal (Alameda, CA). The Jets enter the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Encinal was nudged by Berkeley (Berkeley, CA), 2-1, in a league game.
