The Perquimans Pirates topped the visiting Camden County Bruins volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Pirates now have a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holmes for a non-league test on Thursday, September 28. Perquimans will confront a Aces team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Aces record now stands at 6-6.
The Bruins (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Currituck County gained a win over Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
