The Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions soccer team scored 7 points and limited the host Roxboro Community Bulldogs to 2 in the Flying Lions league victory on Wednesday.
Next, the Flying Lions face the Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC) in a Triangle North 1A contest, on Monday, October 2. Excelsior Classical Academy will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Griffins enter the contest with a 3-9 record after their 3-3 league Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC).
The Bulldogs now have a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to River Mill for a non-league contest on Friday, September 29. Roxboro Community will face a Jaguars team coming off a 4-0 league win over Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 11-2.
