The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) and the visiting Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC), saw Hibriten's soccer squad knock off Watauga by a margin of 3-1.

The Panthers now sport a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Alexander Central for a Northwestern 3A/4A test on Monday, October 2. Hibriten will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 1-0 league win over South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Watauga drops to 3-10 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Freedom (Morganton, NC) to meet the Patriots in a Northwestern 3A/4A test on Monday, October 2. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 4-4. Freedom 1-1 in their recent league test against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC)
