Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Washington Montessori Eagles (Washington, NC), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans confront the South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 2. Jones will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 4-3 league loss to North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC).
The Eagles now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pungo Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 28. Washington Montessori will confront a Raiders team coming off a 1-1 league Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 6-3.
