In Wednesday's league battle, the host Parkland Mustangs soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Mount Tabor Spartans.
The Mustangs (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC). The Furies go into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Forsyth Country Day Westchester Country Day (High Point, NC), 1-1, in a league battle.
The Spartans (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Titans go into the Central Piedmont 4A battle with a 12-0 record. In their last battle, West Forsyth nipped East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC), 2-1, in a league battle.
