The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) and the host Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA), saw Jackson County's softball squad achieve victory over Gainesville by a count of 15-0.

The Panthers now sport a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Forsyth for a 6A Region 8 match on Tuesday, October 3.

With the loss, Gainesville falls to 0-22 on the campaign. The Red elephants host Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA) to face the Raiders in a 6A Region 8 match on Thursday, September 28. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 5-17. Habersham Central lost 7-6 in their recent league match against Jackson County (Jefferson, GA)
