The Central Hinds Academy Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host St. Aloysius Flashes to 0 in the Cougars league victory on Wednesday.
The Cougars now have a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pillow Academy for a non-league game on Thursday, September 28. Central Hinds Academy will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Winston Academy (Louisville, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-7.
The Flashes (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS). The Cougars enter the MAIS game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, Simpson Academy dropped by Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
