The Gloucester Dukes volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Denbigh Patriots to 1 in the Dukes league victory on Wednesday.

The Dukes now have a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warwick for a Peninsula game on Tuesday, October 3. Gloucester will meet a Raiders team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Menchville (Newport News, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-6.

The Patriots (1-14) will now prepare for their game against Hampton (Hampton, VA). The Crabbers enter the Peninsula game with a 1-11 record. In their last game, Hampton dropped by Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
