The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Walden Wolverines (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Parker Wyverns (Louisville, KY), saw Walden's volleyball squad beat Parker by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Walden upgrades its record to 3-8 on the year. The Wolverines host Kentucky Country Day (Louisville, KY) to play the Bearcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 3. The Bearcats enter the test with a record of 14-8.

The Wyverns (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Model (Richmond, KY). The Patriots enter the non-league test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Model was knocked off by Frankfort (Frankfort, KY), 3-0, in a non-league test.
