North Carolina High School Volleyball - Midway can't hold off Gray's Creek

The Midway Raiders volleyball team (Dunn, NC), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC)

The Bears (15-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles come into the United Eight 3A/4A challenge with a 0-10 record. In their last challenge, Douglas Byrd was edged by South View (Hope Mills, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders encounter the St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) in a Southeastern Athletic 2A challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Midway will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Clinton (Clinton, NC).
