Kentucky High School Volleyball - Jenkins overwhelmed by Letcher County Central

September 27, 2023: Jenkins, KY 41537

In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Letcher County Central Cougars / Lady Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Jenkins Cavaliers.

The Cougars / Lady Cougars (11-12) will now prepare for their battle against Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 18-9 record. In their last battle, Shelby Valley achieved victory over East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Cavaliers clash with the Jackson City Tigers (Jackson, KY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 2. Jenkins will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 7-15 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY).
