The Nokomis Warriors prevailed the visiting Maranacook Black Bears volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Warriors now have a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington Academy for a Class B test on Saturday, September 30. Nokomis will confront a Raiders team coming off a 3-1 league win over Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 9-0.

The Black Bears (2-6) will now prepare for their test against North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME). The Panthers enter the Class C test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, North Yarmouth Academy dropped by Greely (Cumberland Center, ME), 3-0, in a non-league test.
